Laubach, A. A Practical School for the Viola (Methode pratique pour Alto), comprising the rudiments of music, scales, arpeggi, progressive exercises, and pieces in all ma­jor and minor keys. (7654).
Luitgen, H. Practical and Progressive Method, intended both for beginners and for more advanced players. Con­taining Exercises by the greatest Masters and some pas­sages from the Works of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schu­mann, etc.
Liitgen's method consists largely of extracts from the great masters; Hermann's is the simplest course for young beginners. In Laubach's method the exercises are specially well graduated as to difficulty.
